Parker 45 Red with Gold Nib!

When I first ran into Parker 45s I wasn’t real excited about them. Α while back a customer sent me one for a tune-up and I was really impressed. These pens can be every bit as smooth as a 51, yet they have a bit more spring in their nib. This little bit of flex allows for more line variation than you can get with a 51 or 21. Some of them, like this one, even come with gold nibs! These pens are hard to beat for the price. Get this one for $45!

Parker 51 – Gold and Black

This pen was produced in the last year that Parker made the vacumatic 51, 1948. Beginning in the later portion of 1948 Parker released the new aerometric models. This pen has a rarer line pattern on the cap. Notice the alternation between wavy lines and straight lines. Unfortunately, this cap does have a couple of small dents, but it is still in very good shape! Get this pen for $80!

Dove Grey Parker 51 – Fine

Here is a nice vac-fill Parker 51 for you. This pen dates to 1944, but it has received a different cap somewhere along the way. The blue diamond cap went away around 1947, so this cap had to come from a later Parker 51. Even though this is not 100% original, it still is a wonderful writer. Where else can you find a pen of this caliber at this price? Get it for $70!

Parker Vacumatic Jr. 1948 [SOLD – This pen is going to Malaysia]

Up for your consideration is this Parker Vacumatic Jr. in black. This pen is like new. I seriously doubt it was filled with ink before I tested it. Take a look at the clear sections of the barrel! You will rarely find a pen with this level of clarity! I have replaced the diaphragm since the old rubber would have failed, tested, and cleaned it up a bit. The nib leaves a nice medium line, and writes silky smooth! Get this pen just for $75 plus shipping!

[Sold! This pen is going to California 12/18]Parker Vacumatic – Gold Pearl, Major/Full Size

Here is a fine pen for your collection. This gold pearl Vac is a wonderful writer, and a looker! There are some marks on the cap band you should note. I tried to get the defects in the pictures, so take a look. I also included a size comparison between to a Parker 51 and a demi size Vac. This pen measures a little over 5 1/16″ capped. New diaphragm installed, tuned, smoothed, tested and ready for you. Similar pens go for $200! Get this one for $85 plus shipping!

Parker 51 – Sterling Silver Pen and Pencil set… with a 1mm stub!!

The second pen for today is a Parker 51 vacumatic pen and pencil set. The pen is fitted with a custom 1mm stub, and writes like a dream! The pen is cedar blue, but the pencil appears to be black. This was apparently a very common problem with the cedar blue pencils. The celluloid would darken to black in most cases. In any case, this appears to be a matching set. The sterling silver cap on the pen needed a little work. Unfortunately you can see some evidence of my work. The pictures should tell the story well.

Also this pen is dated 1948. This is the last year that Parker produced the vacumatic 51s. Part way through 1948 the aerometric filler came into production. Get this pen for only $215! You will not find a better deal anywhere else!
