[Sold! – Another Pen on its way to Taiwan!]Sheaffer Balance Vac-Fill – Extra Fine

Check out this Sheaffer Lifetime Balance (full length 5.25″, standard girth). Rather than the more common lever fill, this pen is equipped with a vacuum filler (also known as a piston filler). The vac-fill system was introduced to increase ink capacity and filling efficiency. Unfortunately, many vac-fillers are damaged beyond repair, but this one works like a charm! One or two cycles of the piston in a bottle of ink will fill this pen to capacity. The piston fillers also had a transparent barrel so you can easily see how much ink is in the pen. All of the seals have been replaced on this pen, and the nib adjusted and smoothed. Ready for years of service.

On the back side of the cap the plating is showing a little bit of corrosion. The blind cap is also missing a retaining nut that keeps the cap from being unscrewed from the piston rod. Neither of these defects detract from the function of the pen.

I received this pen for a bargain and I will pass those savings on. These pens regularly go for $80-$100. Grab this one for only $45 (+shipping)!

[SOLD! – this pen is going to Taiwan!]Wahl – Gold Filled Fine-flex

This Wahl fountain pen is smaller than you can imagine. This size “0” measures about 3 5/16″ capped, and 4 7/16″ posted. I included a couple of pictures comparing this pen to a full size Parker 51 so you can visualize the size.

This is a great pen for your on-the-go calligraphy needs. Even though it is small it still flexes from a fine to a broad line. Great for making name cards or invitations.

This pen has been fitted with a new sac and is ready to go! $80 (+shipping)

Please excuse my feeble attempts at calligraphy. πŸ™‚

[Sold! This pen is also going to Taiwan!] Parker 51 – Vacumatic, Fine nib!

Here is another beauty! This is a very nice Parker 51 vacumatic in cedar blue. It lays a nice and juicy fine line. There are very few imperfections to speak of, but it does have a couple. There is a small nick in the blind cap, and a small dent in the metal cap. Neither defect is noticeable if you aren’t looking for them. Other than that this is a fine example of a 1945 Parker 51! New diaphragm installed, this one is ready to go. Get it for only $70 plus shipping!

[Sold! – This pen is staying in California!] Parker Duofold – Vac Fill

Take a look at this nice vac-filling Duofold from 1944. This pen is in great shape. There are some teeth marks on the metal part of the cap. Some of the war year pens have a silver clip because brass was scarce. The silver was then gold plated. I am not sure that this particular clip is sliver, but if it is soft enough to leave bite marks I would suspect that it is (no guarantees :)). The filler on this pen has been completely rebuilt. It has a new spring, cup (for gripping the diaphragm), diaphragm, and air tube. The nib is a fine point and fairly wet. [Sold – This pen is staying in California] Black Parker 21 – Medium

Here is another bargain Parker 21. This is the standard version. Though it is not as dreamy of a writer as a Parker 51, it still writes great, especially when considering the price! This pen would make a nice daily workhorse! Note that all the pens I sell on this blog have been cleaned, and smoothed to my standards. Even an inexpensive pen like this will work great, guaranteed!
